Once you select a prayer click the Prayer Answered button.

God’s Answer

For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things. Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.

1 John 3:20-22

And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.

John 16:23-24

We must be right in God’s eyes, not our eyes, to have our prayers answered.

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place. For now have I chosen and sanctified this house, that my name may be there for ever: and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually. And as for thee, if thou wilt walk before me, as David thy father walked, and do according to all that I have commanded thee, and shalt observe my statutes and my judgments; Then will I stablish the throne of thy kingdom, according as I have covenanted with David thy father, saying, There shall not fail thee a man to be ruler in Israel. But if ye turn away, and forsake my statutes and my commandments, which I have set before you, and shall go and serve other gods, and worship them; Then will I pluck them up by the roots out of my land which I have given them; and this house, which I have sanctified for my name, will I cast out of my sight, and will make it to be a proverb and a byword among all nations.

2 Chronicles 7:14-20

People do not allow time for God’s work to process and answer their prayer. God has His own timeline, not ours. God often works through the natural laws and rules of his creation and that may take time

There are many reasons the answer to prayer can be delayed.

Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words. But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia. Now I am come to make thee understand what shall befall thy people in the latter days: for yet the vision is for many days.

Daniel 10:12-14

God sets the time to answer your prayer when it brings Him glory and highlights His Blessings.

Now a certain man was sick, named Lazarus, of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha. (It was that Mary which anointed the Lord with ointment, and wiped his feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick.) Therefore his sisters sent unto him, saying, Lord, behold, he whom thou lovest is sick. When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby.

John 11:1-4

Keep at it

We must continue to pray and look for God’s Answer, we do not often realize that our prayer has been answered. Look with open eyes and knowledge.

Pray without ceasing.

1 Thessalonians 5:17

And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;

Luke 18:1

Recognize when God has Answered your Prayer

We must with an open mind and heart realize when our needs have been met. This might not always be obvious. But it will be evident in fulfilling our prayer request need when that need is filled. For example, you might have entered a prayer request for a new car. However, God’s answer to your prayer might be fixing your current car or getting you a loaner car until circumstances change. Do not forget that God works through his creation and other people to answer prayers, supply blessings and for miracles. A natural answer or help from others – are still God’s answer to our prayer.

We start first with watching for the answer, continued prayer and thanks to the Lord.

Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;

Colossians 4:2

Give God the Credit and Thank Him

We should honor God at all times; for an unanswered prayer and an answered prayer. There are many verses on thanking and praising God. You should also change your life and live like you are grateful for the things God has done for you and thankful you are in His Family!

Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice. Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:4-7
